Broken Chains

Chains
Shhhhhhhhh.
They make no sound
Bound is your soul to the rock of despair
Silence is the only noise I hear.
Why?
When you have been given the life of joy, faith and hope
Chained is your body not by physical links of fear
But, by the shortened cord of mental knowledge
Late! never
The present is always promised for change

Speak Up!
Bondage seems so long ago, whether it is the Hebrew slaves, enslaved Africans or our own desire to remain ignorant of reality that exists in our everyday lives
Bondage exists through the mental chains of bondage place on the present and future beat of life
Bondage exists through the decisions, choices, wants not needs that we have escaped to for refuge
Are Chains holding you? Break them I say
Sorrow knows all man, yet holds no place of refuge

Broken Chains
Set yourself free
Why chain it up
Live life to the fullest but for a purpose
Hold it dear it was free to you
Why allow it to be Chained.
Chains have tied you up one day, one hour, one second too long
Break them and join me as we face the rising sun
Embracing joy, faith and hope

Life like Broken Chains
Sing not like hummingbirds, wings releasing nothing but a whisper
But as a family of nightingales welcoming the sun from the east
Silence you hear in the night, promises the welcoming song of the morning sun
Singing not like nightingales but like hummingbirds
Let go! Shhhhhhhhhhhhhh
The noise of fear has taken over the souls of hope. No longer can they reside on the temples of life
Break the Chains
See my chains, hear my noise, hear me sing like the nightingale waiting for morning to come

Your Charge
Hear my Broken Chains
As the thunder rolls with lightening crackling the sky
Your noise
Trumpeted voices
Ringing tambourines from the beating of hands
Feet to pine wood floors
Shhhhhhhhhhhhh
Live with Broken Chains
They’re listening
